Our mission is to serve European plastic surgeons including those early in their careers and those with huge experience and expertise, unite us with one voice and advance patient safety and the quality of aesthetic surgery practice and education. Our journey started in 1997 as EASAPS bringing national plastic surgery societies together into a federation and has now evolved into ESAPS where you can join our growing aesthetic surgery community with an individual plastic surgeon membership. Of course, continuing our vital relationships with the national societies remains a priority as well.

I am fortunate to be surrounded by an experienced, supportive and knowledgeable Board for my 2024 – 2026 term and I look forward to both working with them and European plastic surgeons over this time. We have an established mission and strategy to grow our voice and educational and safety offering over the next five years. As well as the Advanced Body Contouring (ABC) taskforce, we are developing a one-year Aesthetic Breast Programme and further educational events. Our next Biennial Congress will be in London on October 1st and 2nd 2026 in collaboration with the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). I cordially invite you to mark your diaries with this date and join us in London in 2026. ESAPS will also continue to work on European patient safety and regulatory issues as well.

I encourage all fully accredited European plastic surgeons to join ESAPS and avail of our educational and networking community benefits.
