Current activities

Scientific meetings

The primary focus of the SC Committee is to organize scientific meetings and provide educational opportunities for our younger colleagues. A key highlight during this period is the upcoming Workshop on Aesthetic Breast Surgery, which will be held in Brussels on 28th November 2025 - strategically scheduled one day before the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic Surgery (RBSPS) Autumn Meeting.

Looking ahead, we are pleased to announce that our next biennial Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Congress will take place in London from 1st to 3rd October 2026, in collaboration with the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).

Save the dates - we look forward to welcoming you!

Aesthetic Breast Program

The Aesthetic Breast Program is a one-year educational initiative that combines online learning modules with on-site visits to leading European experts in aesthetic breast surgery.

We are utilizing the LearnWorlds platform to host recorded lectures, all following a standardized template. We are currently midway through this phase of the programme.

  • Applicants should already have basic breast surgery skills, such as being able to perform a primary breast augmentation and should have an interest in aesthetic breast surgery.
  • Applicants' goal is to improve basic skills such as patient communication and measurements, implant selection (e.g., textured vs. smooth, round vs. anatomical), and surgical skills (surgical planes, managing basic complications, managing more complex breast cases)
  • Applicants must commit to completing the program
  • Applicants should align with ESAPS values, and if post-residency, they should be ESAPS members.

We warmly invite every European plastic surgeon to contribute - contact us and share your ideas, inspire new initiatives, and help us shape the future of aesthetic plastic surgery.
