Dear colleagues, dear friends, It’s an honor for me and a great pleasure to welcome you for the 33rd congress of the SOFCEP which will be held from 17-19 September 22021 in Les Sables d’Olonne. Along this « coast of light » that lies on the atlantic ocean looking out onto the sea, the convention center « Les Atlantes » will welcome you on the main topic of « Aesthetic in a time of disruption ». This year the main theme will be about Aesthetic in a time of disruption. Let’s be brave in the world who’s coming! The goal is to explore our favorite topics in a different angle with the improvement of technics and technologies surrounding us. Disruption means breaking the rules for innovation. It affects society as a whole, particularly the exponential growth of AI and incredible achievements of cognitive science. For this new edition, the program will talk about traditional medico-surgical topics and moreover those about augmented humanity through the NBIC (Nano, Bio, Info, cogno-technologies). We are faced with a moving society which is expressed, soon under the leadership of the Millennials. So this congress will assume an important place to the most open discussion without denying our therapeutic and ethical values. The panel of international and french distinguished lecturers will be mixed with young plastic surgeons, bathed in new technologies, to get a glimpse of the future that awaits us.
